– Opening Reception Announcement & Call to Artists: Florida Native –

The Brooksville Art Gallery At 201 would be pleased to have you submit 3 pieces of your artwork painted or created while inspired by the theme, “Florida Native.” There is bound to be much creative inspiration in creating work for such a theme.

Anything Florida will be well suited for this exhibit. Just make it native! What is a Florida native? Artwork ideas can be anything from native plants, animal species, and specific peoples to more creative submissions like paintings that serve as tributes to the Native land we live on. You may have a creation that differs from the described and you can iterate on what it means to be a Floridian in the modern age, living in the present while remembering our past and walking into the future.
