Art on Fire
A partnership with the City of Brooksville and Brooksville Fire Department
Art is on fire in Brooksville!
In 2022, the Art on Fire Program was created in partnership with the City of Brooksville and the Brooksville Fire Department under our Public Art Strategic Initiative. Interested artists will be permitted to “adopt” fire hydrants within the corporate limits of Brooksville and create artistic designs for them. The goal of this program is to embrace the artistic talents of local individuals while displaying creative artwork throughout the community. Fire hydrants throughout downtown Brooksville will be available for artists to paint. Artists are responsible for providing their own materials. There is no cost to apply for the program.
Design proposals are now being considered for the 2nd round of fire hydrants to be painted in the City of Brooksville.
