Leave a mark with Art Mark

In 2021, the Art Mark program was created under our Art in Education Strategic Initiative with the intent to bring affordable summer art classes to Hernando County.

The Hernando County Fine Arts Council offers affordable, interactive art classes to students right here in Hernando County! We pride ourselves in hosting unique art classes, covering a variety of mediums. Some of our past classes have included animation, costume design, dance, culinary arts, STEAM, and even mural design! Summer 2022 programming was partially funded by a grant from the Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation. In 2023, the Arts Council is revisiting this program and partnering with Hernando County Parks and Recreation. Stay tuned for announcements on classes coming to Hernando County this summer.
