In these challenging times, our hearts are with those impacted by the recent hurricanes. We found a few resources that may be useful for artists whose ability to create has been hindered by the storms. Visual Artists : Gottlieb Foundation Emergency Relief Grant
The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation is offering Emergency Relief grants and individual support grants for experienced artists
Crafters : CERF+ Emergency Relief Grant
The Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) provides grants of up to $3,000 to craft artists who experienced a recent and substantially disruptive emergency or disaster.
Venues : NIVF Emergency Relief Fund
The NIVF Emergency Relief Fund is dedicated to providing economic relief to independent, live performance venues and promoters, both for-profit and nonprofit, across the United States that present music, comedy, and performing arts that are experiencing a critically severe emergency due to circumstances beyond their control.
Dancers : Rauschenberg Emergency Grants
This program provides one-time grants of up to $3,000 to professional dancers in need, who are in dire financial emergency.
Musicians : MusiCares Disaster Relief
MusiCares provides crisis relief, preventive care, recovery resources, and need-based financial assistance for people across all music professions
Musicians : Jazz Foundation of America Musician’s Emergency Fund
The Jazz Foundation of America offers the Musician's Emergency Fund, which offers housing, emergency assistance, disaster relief, and pro-bono medical for musicians.
Visual Artists : Artist Fellowship Inc. Financial Aid
The Artists’ Fellowship provides one-time emergency aid to professional visual fine artists and their families in times of sickness, natural disaster, bereavement, or unexpected extreme hardship.
