Call for Artists : West Tampa Street Mural Project (Paid Opportunity)

This is a call for Artists who: •
Have an interest in creating street intersection murals in West Tampa
Recognize the value of celebrating the diversity of West Tampa
Have experience in street or asphalt murals
Are visual artists that can mix their own specific colors from primary traffic paint
Can agree to a specific painting schedule
The West Tampa Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) invites artists to apply to be considered for the creation of 3 street intersection murals. These three murals will be painted at 3 separate times. Each intersection has been recently refinished and is ready for paint.
Public street mural art experience is required for this call. Artist must use high quality traffic paint. Preferable paint to use is Gorilla Acrylic Zone Marking Traffic Paint. This paint only comes in primary colors so the artist will need to be knowledgeable in mixing their own paint.
Artists once selected will be compensated for their designs.
Budget Range : up to $30,000.00
