Call for Artists : “Small Town Feel” Exhibit at Shapot Art Gallery in Ocala

Description: Shapot Art Gallery in Ocala, FL is now accepting submissions for Small Town Feel - a new group exhibit that showcases small towns in miniature formats. This distinctive exhibition will feature works that capture the essence of Ocala, Marion County, and small towns everywhere.
Artists are invited to submit their interpretations of what, "small town" means to them. Ideas may include (but are not limited to) a nostalgic scene, a modern perspective, or a hidden gem. All mediums will be considered, including painting, sculpture, textile art, photography, digital media, and video.
Details:
Each artist may submit up to three artworks.
All submitted artwork must adhere to a maximum size of 9"x9"x9". Pieces exceeding these dimensions will not be considered.
There is a $5 submission fee.
The artist will receive a 70% commission for sold works. The gallery will retain 30% of all sales.

Accepted artwork must be delivered to Shapot Art Gallery by Tuesday, May 27. If shipped, artwork must be easily repackaged in case it does not sell during the exhibition. Artists are responsible for shipping costs.
