Subject:  ART IN THE PARK NAMED TOP 20 MARCH EVENT IN THE SOUTHEAST THIRD YEAR IN A ROW


The Southeast Tourism Society is proud to announce the Hernando County Fine Arts Council’s 36th Annual Art in the Park has been named to its top 20 Festival and Events list for the month of March 2020. Jan Knowles, co-chair of Art in the Park noted, “The Arts Council is thrilled that our festival has been named in the top 20 for the third year in a row!” 

The Southeast Tourism Society is a travel industry organization that has saluted the region's best events since 1985.

The 36th Annual Art in the Park will be held at Tom Varn Park, 306 Darby Lane, Brooksville, FL, Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 2020, 10 am-5 pm. 

The juried festival offers more than 130 fine art and craft exhibitors plus 2 days of live stage entertainment, featuring the Hernando Symphony Orchestra Saturday at 1 pm performing "Pops in the Park." The event also includes a food court, a juried student art show and a Children’s Art Activity Tent. 

Art in the Park is sponsored by the Hernando County Fine Arts Council. Admission is FREE.  The $5 suggested parking donation helps support all the arts in Hernando County through Council grant programs and other projects.
