Meet Johan Casadiego!

Johan is an award-winning artist here in Hernando County, who creates everything from murals to exotic paintings - each with hidden thoughts buried throughout the painting. You can look at his work 100 times and always find something new! Johan is extremely active in the local arts community, participating in many Arts Council-sponsored public art programs. He currently has a mermaid statue on the Mermaid Tale Trail, with another in the works! He has participated in the Art on Fire program, Mobile Mural program, and Gallery 201.

"Ever since I was a kid I loved drawing and creating things. My mind is always associating shapes and creating new ideas, I consider myself a creative artist, I always look for new ways to communicate with the viewers, through different styles or elements. I try not to limit myself on only one medium to express my thoughts. I’ve used Photography, Sculpture, Drawing, Graphic Design, and I have been painting in different mediums now for more than 25 years"
