Meet Jana Withers!

Jana is a local conservationist, artist, educator, and huge contributor to the Hernando County arts scene. She creates artwork in her "Let It Be Art Studio" located in Spring Hill, and on location (en plein air) with local groups like the Nature Coast Art League and Shadow Chasers. She and her husband, Larry, exhibit in almost every art show at Gallery 201, return to Art in the Park year after year, and they even received a Perfect Attendance award at the Hernando Beach Front Porch Art Walk for attending all 11 art walks in 2023! "My goal as an Artist is to "Create Art for the Love of Art" and seek ways to make the "Ordinary, Extraordinary!" How I view life and how it should be portrayed creatively changes every day. I do believe it is more important now than ever before to create art that entertains. Capturing a moment in time that makes someone smile or appreciate the beauty around them, is what I hope to achieve as an Artist.
