One Weekend Only! Come see Blackwood - A Play by W. Paul Wade and Directed by Jay Ingle at Stage West Playhouse on August 18 - 20, 2023 from 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM. There will be an exhibit of watercolor paintings by local artist, Lyn Bechtel, on display in the lobby during the show’s run for a convergence of performing arts and visual arts in Hernando County.

It’s the late 1800s and Leon, an ex-bounty hunter with a painful past, rides into town with Micah, a young man he has raised since Micah’s parents were murdered. They find themselves in a saloon where they encounter a beautiful Madame who just may be the love of Leon’s life as well as a mysterious stranger who wants something from both men. As Micah learns more about his parent’s untimely death, he becomes consumed by the desire for revenge. If Leon is to protect Micah, he must face the dark sins of his past and face off against the most dangerous outlaw he has ever encountered.
