Art in the Outdoors at Chinsegut Conservation Center

Create your own paintbrushes out of natural materials found at Chinsegut and then use it to paint a work of art!

When: Wednesday, November 29th from 10 AM - 12 PM
Where: Chinsegut Conservation Center at 23212 Lake Lindsey Rd, Brooksville, Florida  34601
Contact: Chinsegut@myfwc.com or (352)754-6722

Let your creativity shine in this program designed for elementary ages and up (adults are welcome too!). Participants will start at the conservation center, then walk down to the outdoor classroom at May’s Prairie where they’ll use natural materials found at Chinsegut to make paint brushes and create their own paintings.

All materials will be provided, although participants are welcome to bring additional materials if they wish! This program is designed to be fun for all ages, although due to the dexterity required, younger children may find it difficult to build the brushes.

The total walking distance to the outdoor classroom and back is 0.8 miles round-trip along our hiking trails which are sandy and sometimes uneven in terrain. We’ll have an igloo water cooler for participants to refill their water bottles at the outdoor classroom, but please be aware there are no restrooms at the outdoor classroom.

**Spots are limited and registration is required at the link below. Please only register people who are participating in your group.**
